A New Beginning For Some Lucky Poodles

FB Post of dogs in mud

It has been a few weeks now since a photo  of some dogs at a  breeding kennel showed up on Facebook.  Animal Protection and Education did not go out and bad mouth the kennels, as we knew that calling names would not help the animals.

That same kennel had surrendered all their breeding cats to A.P.E. a few years back.  Well, the kennel gal called again last week, wanting to surrender all the poodles at the kennels.  We quickly made some calls, to network the dogs into no-kill shelters and rescues.

Well, today is the day!  ALL of the poodles have been taking into rescue!  That only leaves three dogs at this kennels.  We hope they will allow us to help them get these last three dogs, spayed and neutered, and find homes for them as well someday.  But, we are happy that these poodles are now safe.  We are thankful that they made the right choice, by calling a rescue to help.  We are honored that their first call was to A.P.E., and that we were able to help them get all the poodles into rescue.

We wanted to share this happy news with you all!
